How to Contribute

"DON'T KEEP MUM ANY LONGER..."

FINEST HOUR is a project that will involve all sections of the community in preserving eye-witness accounts and memories of the Liverpool Blitz. It will produce a vital resource to help the people of Liverpool understand their history, and reconnect people separated by time and generations.

The main aim of Finest Hour is to open a dialogue across generations by asking those who experienced the Liverpool Blitz to be interviewed by their younger relatives, or by USL's chosen representatives.

USL are establishing a schools programme where participating schools will undertake the archive gathering process as part of a broader educational programme.

However we also welcome contributions recorded by adult relatives. USL will provide guidance and assistance with the archive gathering process, as well as access to the necessary equipment.

We also understand that there may be some people who do not have any relatives who can be involved with the project and consequently we will arrange for a member of the Finest Hour team to record your recollections.

If you have memories of the Liverpool Blitz and are willing to share them, please get in touch.

You can email us directly by clicking the 'Contact us' link and filling in the form, or if you prefer, either by telephone or post - our contact details are on the 'Contact us' page.

Please also tell us how we can contact you directly (email, phone, post).

We look forward to hearing from you, and to recording your memories for the current and future generations of Liverpool.
